However, latest reports confirm that Santokh Singh has been cleared of all charges related to the incident. After Baba Bakala Sahib was acquitted by the court, Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh released a video explaining the situation.
He reminded the audience that in 2020, he faced a serious charge of rape, which led to a case being registered against him by the Punjab Police. He mentions receiving both positive and negative comments during that time.
Also in the video, he said that he was questioned about the case in court and was honorably acquitted. Along with his lawyers, Santokh Singh expressed his willingness to share this information because he had endured so much humiliation.
