The long-awaited sequel to ‘Son of Sardar’ is finally getting ready as Ajay Devgn has started shooting for ‘Son of Sardar 2’. The film has been in the headlines for a while and now fans can rejoice as the production has officially started. Ajay Devgn shared a video on social media showing the start of the shoot, along with some visuals from the sets, featuring lead actress Mrunal Thakur in a desi look.
This happened when Ajay celebrated his wife Kajol’s birthday a day ago. Ajay Devgn has posted a video from the shoot of ‘Son of Sardar 2’, in which he is seen praying at a shrine, followed by his son and nephew holding the film’s clapboard. Director Vijay Kumar Arora is shown, followed by Chunky Pandey dancing on the dhol and lead actress Mrunal Thakur playing the dhol in a Punjabi outfit.
In the video, Ajay Devgn is also seen as Sardarji. Sharing the video, Ajay started the journey of the film ‘Son of Sardar 2’ with prayers, blessings and an amazing team. The original ‘Son of Sardar’ film was released in 2012 with a comedy theme starring Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt alongside Ajay Devgn. Instead of Sonakshi, Mrunal Thakur will be seen as the lead actress in the upcoming film. Sanjay Dutt is reportedly facing challenges in shooting due to visa issues.
