ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ Kangana Ranaut ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। Kangana ਦੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ‘ਚ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਦੌਰ ‘ਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੀਡੀਓ ‘ਚ Kangana Ranaut ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ, ਅਸਵੀਕਾਰਨਯੋਗ ਸਨ, ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ।
ਉਸਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭਾਰ ਹੈ। Kangana Ranaut ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਇਕ ਪੱਖ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “Kangana ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ BJP ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਸੀਟ ਲਈ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕੀਤਾ, ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਸਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਨ।
Sikh community outraged by Kangana Ranaut’s statement, “Padma Shri award” should be withdrawn
The Sikh community is angry with the comments made by BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on the Kisan Andolan. Kangana Ranaut’s comment was considered insulting to the Sikhs involved in the protest. In response, Sri Guru Singh Sabha and members of the Sikh community in Indore staged protests demanding the return of the Padma Shri award to him.
Notably, Sri Guru Singh Sabha president Manjit Singh criticized Kangana Ranaut in a video, saying her claims about the movement, including allegations of deaths and attacks, were unacceptable, especially given her status as a public representative. .
He insists that he should be more careful and thoughtful with his words, as they carry significant weight. Kangana Ranaut had earlier called Sikhs Khalistani and suggested that independence was given as a favor.
President Manjit Singh also said, “Kangana received the first Padma Shri award, and later the BJP nominated her for a parliamentary seat, yet her comments are not in line with the party’s interests.”
He further asserted that farmers are essential to the country’s economy and urged the President to withdraw his Padma Shri award, demanding action against him until he is punished. He will not get the message that people are hurt by his statement.
