ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ, ‘ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਜਹਾਜ ਹੈ’ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ‘ਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਕਮਰਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਰੂਪੀ ਗਿੱਲ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਆਫ਼-ਬੀਟ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਘੁੱਗੀ, ਜੱਸ ਬਾਜਵਾ, ਬੀਐਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਪ੍ਰਦੀਪ ਚੀਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਭੰਗੂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਟਾਰ-ਸਟੱਡੀਡ ਕਾਸਟ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਲੇਖਕ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਗਿੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰ ਹੁੰਦਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਵੀ ਸਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਰਿੱਕੀ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਸਨ।

Renowned Punjabi director Amar Hundal will showcase his first Punjabi film ‘Bibi Rajini’, a departure from his usual action style, the trailer of which has been released. Produced by ‘Made For Film’ and directed by Pinky Dhaliwal and Nitin Talwar, the religious film marks a new direction for Hundal, who has followed his previous successful action films like ‘Warning’, ‘Warning 2’, and ‘Babbar’ is known.
Also, the religious film follows the story of Rajini, the youngest daughter of an arrogant king during the time of Sri Guru Ram Dass. Despite being forced into marriage by her father to a disabled man, Rajini remains loyal to her beliefs and believes the situation to be God’s will.
Notably, after the success of ‘Nanak Naam Jahaj Hai’, this film is expected to be a major achievement in Punjabi cinema. Actress Rupi Gill, who is known for her work in commercial cinema, will step into the world of off-beat cinema for the first time through this film. This film was shot near Sri Amritsar Sahib.
The film has a star-studded cast including Yograj Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jass Bajwa, BN Sharma, Pradeep Cheema and Gurpreet Bhangu. It was written by famous Bollywood writers Baldev Gill and Amar Hundal, with music composed by Avi Saran and lyrics by Harmanjit Singh and Ricky Khan.
