Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant, married Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, in a lavish wedding in Mumbai on July 12, 2024. The wedding ceremony was held at Jio World Convention Center. A happy bride in her fairytale wedding, Radhika embraced her farewell in a masterpiece designed by Manish Malhotra and styled by Rhea with Shareen and Sanya Kapoor. Known for her love for Indian handicrafts and textiles, Radhika’s stunning collection featured a stunning blouse designed with genuine gold karchobi work.
Inspired by the traditional abho (kurta) and the rich textile heritage of Kutch, Gujarat, the statement piece echoes the artistry of the late 19th century. Radhika paired the bright blouse with a multi-panelled Banarasi brocade lehenga in sunset hues. A perfect tribute to the timeless beauty of India. An even netted design was also added on a beautiful red veil complementing Radhika’s overall outfit.
The color of romance mixed with emotion, Radhika’s bridal outfit was the perfect wedding dress a bride could ask for. Complete the look with a Banarasi woven dupatta. Radhika’s farewell ensemble was styled by drape artist Dolly Jain and her makeup and hair were done by Lovelyn Ramchandani and Heeral Bhatia.
